Hi everyone! I am Jenny from Sweden. I am 40 years old and live in the Swedish city Gothenburg although born and raised in the smaller town Kalmar. After I graduated from high school I went to Australia for a year to work as a nanny. This is where my independent travel interest started. It has since just grown and grown although the way I travel and the things I value on my trips have changed with the years. From staying in cheap bungalows with holes in the wall (allowing for spiders and other insects to enter freely) I nowadays allow myself a bit more comfort and occasionally even add some splurging days. I guess I have become a “flash packer” 😉
Every day in my life is filled with traveling. I am constantly dreaming about trips I want to do in the future or thinking about past trips and using the knowledge and experience gained from those. I love preparing for next trip, and the next trip after that. This is also something that has changed over the years. Compared to when I was younger I now prefer to pre-book most of my hostels/hotels in advance, to avoid hassle once on the road.
